In a world where dreams take flight,
With pages blank, a canvas bright,
A children's author sits and sighs,
As magic dances in their eyes.

With every word, a treasure found,
Imagination knows no bound,
From castles high to oceans deep,
Adventures bloom where stories leap.

A dragon's roar, a whispering breeze,
A friendship forged on high seas.
Through pages worn, tales retold,
Young hearts embrace the brave and bold.

So pen in hand, the author weaves,
A tapestry of hope and dreams,
Creating wonder, with words of tales
Creating worlds where heroes hail.

For in each story, a lesson’s spun,
The heroes battle fought and won,
The author pens the first line

Hello, my name is Judi, and I am thrilled to announce that I am officially a children’s author! This has been an extraordinary adventure, transforming my lifelong dream into reality, and I am eager to share it with all of you.

Life has taken me down various paths, but now, in this season of my life—where my children have grown and are blessing me with grandchildren—I have found the perfect opportunity to pursue my passion for writing.

A recent moment with my youngest granddaughter inspired me to write this story. After she excitedly explored my makeup collection with every color she could find, she came to me and asked, “Does this make me look pretty?” I was struck by her innocent curiosity. As I admired her colorful face, I realized it was the perfect time to share an important lesson

about beauty that I hope she will carry with her throughout her life.
